Core Policy

 

  • Please send core related questions to info@bigdawgdiesel.com
  • Core credits will only be refunded if the application is the same as the item sold.
  • High Pressure Oil Pumps MUST BE RETURNED WITH FITTINGS. If fittings are not returned you will be charged $25.00 each.
  • No Refunds for Physically Damage (Body Cracked, Melted, or Broken Electrical Connectors). Body Must Be a Good, Rebuildable Core.
  • Visible Signs of Rust, Fire Damage, Water Damage, Physical Abuse or Excessive Force on Any and All Parts of the Injectors.
  • Broken Pintles – CORES MUST HAVE GOOD PHYSICAL FORM FOR CORE CREDIT
  • Injector Connectors MUST not be broken or damaged locking tabs.
  • Core Charges will vary in the items rarity and rebuildability. Many of our older product will have a higher core charge due to the very limited supply of said part. 
  • Customers are responsible for the initial shipping cost and all return shipping costs. No credits are issued on shipping costs.
  • Customers has 30 day to return cores to Big Dawg Diesel with a core tag provided to them in the order received. After 30 days, 25% of the core charge is to be taken off per week. After 60 days, no core charge will be refunded. 

 

 

Definition of core:

  • The core is the old unit, which was replaced by the new or rebuilt item. Some new items, for example the Motorcraft product line, also require the return of the old core.

 

Shipping Method:

  • After installing the new / rebuilt item, simply put OLD ITEM/UNIT back in the original shipping box. Please drain oil or fuel from the used item. Wrap in sturdy plastic bag if needed. If core package is compromised due to any fuel or oil present, partial credit is given so you are responsible to secure your cores properly. 

 

Core Physical Condition:

  • Cores should be returned in an “as removed” and rebuildable condition. Cores returned incomplete or disassembled may receive partial credit or be rejected. Cores need to be returned within 30 Days – please call if you need additional time for core return.

 

After 30 Days:

  • The credit card that we have on file will be charged for the amount of the core (amount will very depending on the part, and will appear on the invoice).
  • If the core is returned after 30 days a full refund of the core charge minus 25% per week will be issued to the customer. No core refund will be given after 60 days or will be purchased at what we pay for cores.
