DTech Ford 6.0L Injector Features
DTech offers remanufactured injectors for Ford 6.0L Power Stroke applications. Our injectors incorporate many production and quality process improvements including:
1. New spool valve and remanufactured spool valve housing.
2. New coil and wire assembly (with vent slot).
3. New electrical connector.
4. New nozzle assembly.
5. Improved D-Ring.
Complete features of DTech remanufactured 6.0L injectors, part numbers DT600001R and DT600002R, are highlighted on the injector cut-away and explained below. Application and warranty information can be found on the next page.
1. 100% new spool valve matched to a precision machined bore. This prevents excessive loss of injection control pressure, reduces stiction, resulting in ideal injector performance.
2. 100% new coil and wire assemblies with vent slot. Installation of new coil and wire assemblies ensures optimal injector operation, engine performance, and an increased service life of the remanufactured injector. A common issue with the 6.0L injector is breakdown of the wire insulation and fractures of the wire strands. These issues cause misfires, power balance issues, and diagnostic codes. This eliminates electrical issues from old, fatigued wires and coils, reduces spool valve stiction.
3. 100% new electrical connector. This improves installation of the engine wire harness connector and improves electrical pin alignment and retention.
4. 100% new nozzle assemblies. Use of a new nozzle provides improved atomization of the fuel resulting in improved engine operation and increased injector service life. This eliminates cracked nozzles from metal fatigue due to operational age. An improved needle seat life prevents combustion pressure from blowing by the seat and entering the fuel system. Reuse of a used nozzle can result in cracking of the nozzle body from metal fatigue and reduced durability of the needle seat.
5. D-Ring engineered from a custom high-strength material to hold up to high-pressures and high-temperatures to which it is subjected. This prevents premature failures resulting in hard hot starting problems. Application Information
