Residual powder from engine castings and hoses, and, the anti-freeze breaking down from high exhaust temperature creates a plugging slurry which can cause the the engine’s coolers to plug. The easy-to-install kit is mounted in-line with the engine coolant hoses and comes complete with anodized filter head, spin-on filter, mounting bracket, hoses, clamps, fittings, mounting hardware and a bypass valve for easy change of filter. Change the 1st filter after 500 miles the 2nd & 3rd after 3,000 miles and annually after that!
